Delete your Miri account
For the app Miri (Miri Next): how to ask for your account to be deleted, what is deleted and when.
In the app
- Open Miri and go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
The request is recorded on the Miri server. Everything of Miri on your phone (chats, memory and settings) is deleted at once, and Miri closes.
Without the app
Email [email protected] from the address of the Google account you signed in to Miri with, with the subject "Delete my Miri account". We ask you to prove the account is yours only if the email comes from another address.
What is deleted
- Your chats and files on the Miri server.
- Your usage records (messages, tokens and voice minutes).
- Your plan and the records of your Google Play purchases of it.
- Reports you sent about Miri's replies.
- Your Google sign-in with Miri: its identifier, your name and your email.
Requests are handled within 30 days. We keep only a record that a deletion request was handled and when, with nothing that identifies you. The server's system logs are deleted in their regular rotation.
If you sign in to Miri again before the request is handled, it is cancelled and your account stays.
Deleting your account does not cancel a Miri subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play → Payments and subscriptions.
